Shafique R. Mohammed is the founder and managing lawyer of Dominion Law Group. Shafique completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Simon Fraser University in 1993 as a political science major, and went on to attend Law School at the University of Victoria where he graduated in 1997 with a Juris Doctor Degree. During law school, Shafique had the pleasure of spending his summer terms working with notable Vancouver trial lawyer, A. Cameron Ward. Shafique would complete his articles at Beck, Robinson & Company in Vancouver, B.C. and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1998.
Having established his successful litigation practice in all levels of British Columbia Courts over the years, and focusing on litigating major personal injury claims, Shafique has developed an extensive ICBC plaintiff’s only practice and has over the years attained sizeable settlements ranging into the millions for his clients, both in and out of court. Prior to establishing DLG, Shafique was one of the founders and managing partners of MMT Law in Surrey.
To provide representation to an ever increasing client base Shafique has established Dominion Law Group. With a dynamic group of lawyers, staff, and a network of medical specialists dedicated to client patient care, DLG has become a dominant force in litigating accident injury claims in British Columbia.
An avid public speaker, writer and community leader, Shafique is dedicated to serving the community at large and spends a great deal of his time educating and providing pro bono legal services to various individuals and organizations, serving as the master of ceremonies at various functions, and contributing to numerous community newspapers and magazines. Professionally, Shafique is an active member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Canadian Bar Association.
